The Hurricane Extreme is the king of all strong parasols. Well known for its phenomenal strength, it has been built to face any weather condition with confidence. The sleek and stylish frame along with the curved canopy – give a distinctive appearance and sets it apart from the competition.
Materials Used:
With the help of a team of independent engineers, the parasol was tested in a wind tunnel. It turns out that this unique umbrella will withstand strong winds of over 125km/h, or as we like to call it – ‘hurricane conditions’. See more in the video gallery.
The stainless steel frame
Ribs, hub and runner are built using high-quality 304 stainless steel, marine grade, mirror polished steel. The steel pole diameter is 80mm with a 3mm wall thickness, making this parasol resistant to any high winds, either open or closed.
The vinyl canopy
Ferrari 502 PVC – is a unique fabric that’s incredibly durable and easy to clean. With a high resistance to the sun´s harmful rays (50+ UPF), it is fade resistant, tear resistant and windproof. More than 40 different colours are available, from white to black, along with the possibility of adding your business logo or personalise it the way you consider.
Shapes and sizes:
The Hurricane Extreme comes in one Square standard shape and it is available in 2 sizes: 3 and 4m. Read more in the ‘Technical Data’ tab.
Accessories:
Heaters
Up to 4 heater arms can be mounted on the pole. 1.5Kw Electrical, infrared heaters keep everyone warm under the shelter.
Lights
You can opt to have 2 or 4 directional spotlights, either 50W Halogen or LED, remotely controlled.
Heater Tray
Heater tray to conceal cabling and mount heating arms. Lighting can also be attached to the tray.
Fixations:
The recommended bases available for this model are made with galvanised steel (the base frame) and can reach up to 480 kg if a non-permanent fix is required allowing the parasol to be moved when needed. The In-Ground or floor plate bases are for when a permanent fix is desired which provide the best stability.
Usage:
The current fashion trends make this parasol stand out in any areas of use as they are stylish and have a big visual impact. Designed for intense commercial usage, where management of umbrellas is difficult with rapid weather changes, this parasol makes a great addition to any outdoor area, from large restaurant or pub terraces to home gardens and patios.

For the Hurricane Extreme, Bambrella does not recommend or warrant the use of their parasols in winds exceeding 45mph (72 kph). In winds exceeding 45mph the parasol should be closed for safety. Always close your parasol when not in use!
